Gary-
Thanks man, I wanted to try the 20th and compare, I still will as a friend of mine has one but lives farther away.
I couldn't pass this up though since another location had it in stock from a trade in and it's a pretty stellar price.
Cheers.
thats cool, I figured as much since the metal grill is shiny compared to the way my old Uber grill was more of a flat black. the cool thing however is the chassis as well looks super mint, not a mark or finger print really, its shocking.
Thanks for the heads up.
Man that is totally killer!
I would love that room!
There is another jam room/ recording studio picture floating around of a guys room in Japan, the room is all black, that would be a dream for me, something like this freestanding room you have built but pitch black walls!
Either way, Killer job!
Right on. I'll post on SSO as well but it's down at the moment haha.
anyhow, I was totally unsure since I had a lot of people tell me this wouldn't be good for "metal". I don't always play metal but I wanted a different tone than what is typical for what I play as I'm not really into the modern...
Are you the same Wizard of Ozz from the SSO.org?
Anyhow, I haven't had a chance to compare, I will on the weekend.
The crazy thing is, I tried it out in the store with the gear they had and it was great but I knew it could be better, I took it home and WOW with my cab, guitars and pedals it...
Well, I went on a hunt to learn some info on an amp I have not owned yet, I've been back to playing Dual Rectifiers the last 4 years and this one has always been in the back of my mind. I hadn't played one since I was very young and even then it was a much older model.
Anyhow, fast forward to...
I'm in the process of drooling over the idea of an Ecstasy.
I do play metal but want it for its versatility.
Here is a good video by Gord Olson
If this isn't metal enough for you then you are doing it wrong!

Hey guys
Does anyone currently on the forum have a Rackmount SLO? I know Sharkdiver had many, not sure if he is still around these parts. Anyhow I kinda want one for some dumb reason, I know it will be hard to find and I'll pay through the nose for one.
Anyhow, there is a Russian amp builder...
Not to mention that any warranty claims might be tricky.
I have heard a few people that have had to make warranty claims on various products, ultimately had to send it back to the US. So there is that too.
Here is a weird thing to add to your confusion, I have serial #1544 and has small logo, pins, schumacher transformers, attached power cable, series loop with old mark series knob correct ohm markings and has a Rev G board. I also have #683 and its a Rev F both sound incredible and different. I...
There are many ways to tell what revision the boogies "might" be, but the best way is as stated above, check the main board by the blue caps. and don't kill yourself!
There are some confusing combinations, in terms of chassis plating and headshell combinations. and other various things that...
