That thing is over the top and I don’t need all the amp simulations. It does look amazing and I know Vai and Satriani use it for things like reverb, chorus, and delay. I figured the smaller unit will be good enough.

I gotta look at one of those Eventide units. I never had use for one, but it would be probably perfect for this application.

Clip using a Boss Pitch Shift and a Boss RV-6, but I don’t want pedals, I want to multi effect. I guess lLne 6, and Fractal are the top contenders.

I recently saw a pretty good demo by a guy that was hitting those channels with various overdrive pedals, and I have to admit, that’s what those channels needed , and then they sounded great.

What’s the prices on those new single channel 50 W amps?

I had two JVM410H. The last one I had broke. I like the amp, especially the gain channels. I didn’t like the crunch or the clean channel, however.

After the JEL 20 I don’t think I’d buy another Friedman amp

A recent interview he was saying he’s got more three nore pedals coming out, and he’s working on additional pedals.

The SLO should be more like the preamp the X 88IR. It should have all those various features and also three channels.

Good timing! I was going to call and ask about a single-channel JMP amp. Those are the amps I grew up with. Had one as soon as they came out, '75/76. Had 50 and mostly 100 watters. I'm sure they were 6550 loaded.

For all the help guys. I believe it’s gonna be between the Soldano X88 IR or the MGL 50 W.

The MGL is a top choice. I grew up with the 50 and 100 watt early Marshall MV heads, and that WAS my sound. Even cooler is they do the cosmetics of that head. There was a custom-tolex Blue MGL head that looked awesome. There are YT demos by some guy named Jordan Steele that are killer.
