A little back story. Edwards guitars are a great value, and are consistently well made. The reality is that anything after 1997 was made in China with and Japanese hardware and setup added in Japan.
Story number 2. Navigator is ESPs premier brand for traditional style guitars. After 50 years...
I bought 2 of these since they were limited. Haven’t even been opened. No need for me to sit on it. Will sell for $250 PPFF. I am shipping from a USPS on an Air Base so priority shipping is closer to 1 week.
Gibson did a run from 1988 to 1998 of guitars in Japan under the name of Orville, the the actual Les Paul on the headstock. Neck is .86 to .99 and long tenon.
Mid 80’s shred machine with Original German Floyd with body mount screws. All original except the Duncan in the bridge. Frets and action are great.
Paid just $313 out the door
So, I can’t stand tiny frets. And not only were they tiny, they were pretty worn. The previously owner played the shit out of this guitar, and I can attest it’s a beast. It appears to be solid mahogany, no maple cap, so it’s a very full sounding guitar I hade swapped the mismatched dimarzios...
Burny LC-70RR. It needs a little work. I have some aged gold covered pickups I can put in to restore the aesthetics as well as a block selector ring. The electronics are a rat’s nest, but otherwise this thing is a beast. The pickups are in there now are a super distortion and an air classic...
It’s an earlier single input mono cab. Glad I finally got a matching cab for my 89s 4 holer Jose mod. It came with 2 vintage 30s for $200. Luckily I had 2 more V30s from a crappy 2x12 I pickup up last month for $100, so, all in for $300. The 4 holer I got for $750.
Found these unopened. They were released in 2016 and were limited to 100 sets. They are custom shop Many of which were bought by ESP for Akira’s Killer brand signature guitars. I paid a pretty penny for these. Thinking about putting them in my rising sun chubtone.

There’s only 3 of this pickup in the wild. Like the pickup it’s based on, the RTM, it’s got a chunky low end more balance in the high mids and highs than a JB. This one is 18.2k 53mm rough cast A2. The guitar is an MJT HSS in Olympic white. All metal parts are factory aged for oh and bridge...
I’ll go first. 1 piece alder body finished by MJT in a heavy relic Olympic white. Aged gotoh ge101ta bridge with steel block. 500k in position 1 on the bridge, 330k in positions 2-5. Pickups are bare knuckle true grit single coils and my ToneNerd WD Forte in the bridge
Body is pretty much...
It seems to be a variation of the one wire mod. When I tried it out a few days ago, my translation app said it was a switch to combine the channels, so I thought it was just a switch instead of an external jumper cable. I also thought the MV on the back was PPIMV, so I set it like a would a...
I’ve been dreading posting this, but it’s time. It’s been a crazy year since moving to Japan. I don’t think one could understand to challenges in starting life over in a new country. Intentions were well and a significant effort was put into trying to keep producing the high output models with...
I’m going to die single with a house full of Japanese Guitars.
I went off today since it’s Black Friday in and my employer in Japan is an American company. What I didn’t expect was for the store here to have Black Friday since neither thanksgiving or Christmas are really a thing here. I get...
