i put heavier strings on my bass tonight....it made the strings a little higher in the 5th to 12th fret... SO i turned the truss right/tight a couple of quarter turns during this evening & my strings are still not where i want them "Lower" ....so do i turn it another quarter tomorrow & see...

getting bored with the 1992 SOLdANO SLO i own ...i. Would like Something Similar in Quality more Percussive an More ''British'' in tone.... Capable of Classic rock through to Metal..... ''if it has'' a clean channel i;d LIKe it to Be VOXish.... ''NO fender tones''...

dont have alot of cash,probably around $1200 range.....need something realy portable and w/ a good bottom end for classic rock/rock outfit..... no funk or slap pop..... minimum 300w this rig has to go in a trunk and a back seat of a 3 series so there aint alot of room compared to a Taurus.

i havnt made my mind up yet,im still fishing for ideas.... im a Soldano SLO user....very happy w/ set up...... the covers act im in is expanding its set lists/styles...... im feeling i may need a 3 channel set up or 2 amp set up(clean/dirty) to be able to cover the spectrum. going w/ a pre/pwr...

Anybody buy this for their amp to cab set up? how was it....i'm interested........running a SLO if that makes any difference (cable match) anybody try the Evidence Audio speaker cable?
