What is the census on Bareknuckle Mule Set pickups?

I love 'em. They're great. Dropped a set in a R7. Funnily enough the A4 pickups and voicing isn't too far removed from the Shaws in my 85 Standard (I got the 85 later and noticed some similarities after I played both next to each other) but there's a bit more output vs the Shaws. That extra...

    PRS SE’s that good?

I’ve got two newer SEs and a S2. The SEs are great. Full stop. Not just for the money. My SE Starla is a super comfortable guitar to play and hold, the neck feels good and the stock pickups have a Gretschy kind of thing going on but with a bit more meat behind them. I dig it. I added a...

    Marshall JCM 2000 thoughts?

DSLs are great. I had a 2000 for years and it was an awesome amp. I’d love to have one again. Cleans were awesome, boosted crunch was great and OD2 boosted was my jam. Secret to OD2 is to keep the gain below 3 and add a boost to tighten it up. In my case, my SD-1 was awesome with that mode.

Anyone still rocking a Egnater Seminar head?

Still have mine. Did the class in 2016 and I’ve had it since. Thought about doing a mod here or there but I like it so much as is that I’ll probably never change it. Only thing I’d do at this point is maybe make a hot rod bluesbreaker combo out of it with 2 Greenbacks.

Price check...value of a Mesa Tremoverb?

It’s great amp but I wouldn’t pay much more than $1K for the combo. Less than. I had an immaculate one from 2000 that I only got $800 for. Great amp, but no one wants to move a stupidly heavy 100 lb combo these days.

Is it me, or have Daddario's gone to shit?

Love Boomers. They’ve always been great for me. They’re my default string for Strats and Super Strats. I may start using them on my LPs soon. Plus, buying GHS helps support the local MI economy. Part of the reason I’ve bought ThroBak strings for my LPs.

    Motor city pickups communications

Last thing I ordered from Wade was an Angel Dust set back in 2018. Fantastic pickups. His service can take some time without a lot of communication. I’m not knocking the guy, as he does eventually make good on his deliveries but it can take some time.

Price check 1986 Charvel model 4 I think?

I'm with Petee. The Model series guitars were made by the same factory that wound up making the Pro series Jacksons that rivaled their USA models, all the way through the aforementioned MIJ San Dimas and Socal models before production was moved to Mexico. And the necks feel amazing. I've...

Price check 1986 Charvel model 4 I think?

I own one. It’s a great playing guitar. Stock electrons are decent enough. Some guys dig them, others not so much. Depending on condition, these days I would say $500-$600. I traded a used 2000 series DSL for mine and felt it was worth the trade.

Old JB VS New, or Bareknuckle Holy Diver

Try a Motor City Angeldust. Good low end without being flubby, super sweet midrange and a clear top end that’s not shrill. I run a set (bridge and calibrated neck) in my Heritage H-150.

Mesa Stiletto Stage II or Ceriatone Jubilee 2555?

Hope the Stiletto works out! Honestly, I had a Trident which was obscenely loud and on the bright side (Stage I). In hindsight, I think it would have been much better with Greenbacks than the Mesa V30s. Wouldn't mind having a Stage II Ace or Deuce to run through my 1960 with Greenbacks.

Heritage H50, anyone know about these??

I own 2. Both of mine are excellent guitars. The H-150s are most like a LP Standard. That one in the ad above I believe is the 150P. Dot inlays, unbound neck and usually a poplar body. Great players for sure. Necks are usually closer to 60s style so a bit thinner. Looks like the hardware...
