    Please help - first WDW

When you go a bit deeper, there is also parallel signal path for fx wet cabs, mixing in the dry via mixer etc :) Lots of fun lol. I use Bray LO-1 for the speaker tap, then into a mixer with 3 stereo parallel fx loops (one has Boss MD-500, other BOSS DD-500) and a separate dry path, so you can...

    Please help - first WDW

Usually, true WDW involves 3 cabinets -center dry and two wet ones. So you basically need one more cab and you are ok. Guitar to Mesa, Slave out from Mesa to RP500 and then stereo out to power amp, power amp to outer two cabs. With your current setup you can do W/D, but not stereo.

NAD EVH 5150 Iconic head, quick clip, W/D/W

Its a regular Tungsol 12ax7 yes - those usually work well in V1 if you are into tighter and more aggressive sounding tube.

NAD EVH 5150 Iconic head, quick clip, W/D/W

Try the Iconic, it might surprise you. I tried some drop D tuning with stereo chorus, sounds pretty fat.

NAD EVH 5150 Iconic head, quick clip, W/D/W

I never heard it would not like active pickups. I changed the V1 tube to Tungsol 12ax7 instead of JJ - rolled off some of the bass an made it tighter and slightly brighter. Short clip

NAD EVH 5150 Iconic head, quick clip, W/D/W

Thanks ! I had 50W Stealth and the matching cab 2x12 and it lasted two days. Iconic + Engl 2x12 blows it away for chugging. Regular 6L6 was the best for me and I had it for couple of years, a good amp overall. So far, I really like it.

NAD EVH 5150 Iconic head, quick clip, W/D/W

Its a great amp, regardless of the price. It sounds better than Synergy 30 head + Powerball module I had, and it was double the price. I have it boosted with OD808 and its tight af under lots of gain. I only hit the 2 of of 10 on volume dial and it seems it likes some volume, feels good and...

NAD EVH 5150 Iconic head, quick clip, W/D/W

I had the amp for a few days now and it sounds really good. Dont miss my 5153, I had all three 50W version and liked the normal 6L6 Best. Iconic has a very good chug, sounds tight and punchy, fast response. This one stays. Just a quick clip, room sound, W/D/W setup with 2x12 dry and 2x 1x12...

Dig it... guitars being made overseas are killing it right now!

In EU/UK we have a rising brand, JET guitars- priced very competitively (199 and up) and offering roasted necks, cool designs, relics etc.. I have one and it sounds and feels like 3x the price. In the latest Total Guitar magazine issue they gave the JS model 4,5/5 mark.

Synergy Module Appreciation Thread - Including MTS, Egnater & Custom Modules

Thanks ! Synergy Powerball module was a bit darker than EVH, I think I prefer the EVH sound wise. Speakers are G12-65 in Engl 2x12 and V30 in 1x12 cab. 1x12 Cab is wet, Engl is dry. Chorus is a Boss MD-500.

NAD, EVH 5150 EL34, quick clip

Just got the amp, still messing with it, sounds pretty good. A little more open than 6L6 version I used to have. I also got EVH 4x12 - still getting used to it, sounds a bit "dark" compared to V30 or G12-65 speakers in my other cabs. Yes, blue channel is pretty flubby :) Quick clip of red...

    EART guitars....

We have a new rising brand in Europe, called JET guitars, you might check this one out. Roasted maple neck, very nice feel, cool colors, its better than anything in the price, including Harley Benton, priced around 190 USD, reviews are very positive. And you can get them in reputable stores, not...
