I'm having problems detuning one step down (D) my RR1: -the main problem is that: only the low D string when i play it open (not fretting anything) has a bit of buzzing/vibrations in the mid of sound decay, ..i play..no buzz..wait 1 second buzz appears...then disappears. -i've checked all...

Hi, I'm having a little problem: in my 2008 Vh4 (ruby 12ax7ac5hg+/hg - sed El34) is difficoult to make channel 4 sounds more heavier and brutal then channel 3. Of course ch4 has more gain but it also adds a lot of compression and the tone looses the definition and articulation of ch3. My ch4...

..surfing on the web i've noticed that Herbert has all preamp tubes shielded, why VH4 none? I tell this for a reason: on my VH4 i pick up a little bit of RFI. Maybe a v1 shielded can solve..or should i put myself inside a big Faraday cage? :D

Hi, From a week ago i've noticed that my vh4 slightly hum in channel 3/4. It is a very suble hum,i hear that only when i roll off the guitar volume and always after at least 30 minutes of playing. I put it on stand by..replace power and hum disappers. :confused: Power tubes are 6 months old...
