Good amps! I have a JCA100HDM that I did the SLO mods to.

Mind sharing where you got the schematics from?
They are pretty easy to find if you just google Jet City Schematics. One link is posted above. You can also find the SLO, or "SLOClone" schematics pretty easy. Changing the parts isnt too difficult. I actually went more involved and moved the loop after the tone stack and added a master volume.

I'm about to do the same with the loop. I modded the loop on my 50H to play better with pedals, but with my 100H I just want a new loop altogether. Might just go the route of another Mojo or Metro loop with a return control. Put a Mojo loop on my modded 20H last night and it's nice.

It was a pain in the ass, lol. However, I figured if I was gonna do it, I wanted to do it right. I had to drill through the PCB to break traces, wire strap capacitors together, run shielded cables back and forth, etc....

I basically copied the loop design from the JCA22H, which is said to be similar to the new SLO II. It seems to work really well. I haven't had any issues with levels and the extra Master Volume control that I added on the back is a lifesaver with this amp. It is also working great as a poweramp to other units also.

I thought about adding one of those little PCB boards, but I didnt want to drill and try to fit more stuff in there and have the orginal loop jacks sitting there doing nothing, and also, I didn't really want to the compression of the orginal loop sitting in the preamp. When I watched Youtube videos of people with the SLO loop bypass mod, I always thought they sounded better without it.

Here is some of the aftermath of the loop mods.

Yup, my 50H loop mod looks about like that. Kind of wild how different loops are in different Jet City models. I think the C22 loop is different from even the 22H loop. Doug mentioned to me (and I may be interpreting this incorrectly) - the 20HV loop was designed by Andy at Mojo; and is now available as a standalone kit. I have one of those Mojo zero loss loops that I just installed in my Friedman modded 20H a couple nights ago. Works great.

Disclaimer: don't give me too much shit for how the board looks lol. This was a rescued amp that the previous owner burned the hell out of and jacked up a lot of the eyelets topside with his "mods". I ripped them all out, cleaned the board the best I could, and did a full PT20/BE preamp voicing mod to it. Direct clone of Friedman's "Jet Pack" mods he offered on these years ago.
