just saw on blabbermouth, its been 10 years. man time flys.
I got to see him live in 2000 on the magica tour in a sold out venue. His voice is flawless for like 2 hours. Craig Gouldy tone blew me away when i was there...right down in front

Saw him in 2002 at Rock Fest out here...I played a tent for 4 days so we got the meet n greet with one artist...most picked Robert Plant. I picked Dio...couldn't have been a nicer guy. Played a great set too....although the drummer had the 'speed everything up' syndrome lol...it was a great lineup that day as the Scorpions played right after. Still listen to Dio often..solo and with Sabbath.

What a voice man. Such great songs over the years with Sabbath, Rainbow, and DIO. He just had a way of singing about fantasy and dragons, etc. and never sounded ridiculous or overdone. He was the master of that.
