Yngwie ripping back in 86 ( Toronto). I might be one of the few who loves the songs, not just the shredding. They were well written back then and always backed by a rythm section that could keep up with him. The band now just doesn't know how to play around his outbursts of " creativity".

While we were goofing off in the garage, he was practicing his ass off to get ready to melt faces on his arrival..
For whatever he has become, there was a time when he was the king of shred guitar.

Hilarious to see him headlining Marching Out at Gota Leon on Southside, and hearing Micheal Uppman and Shelly Erickson from the original Rising Force, screaming Fuck Off at him non-stop from the balcony behind me.

That afternoon, I was in Roger Pincott’s music store on the Southside. Some roadies came in, and bought every heavy pick in the store.
Roger asked “Are these for Yngwie? Tell him he’s a wanker”.
