Now ask yourself if you hear any early "insert name of favourite gained out plexi artist" tones in these amps when opened up and pushed with a hotter pup than what he has in that LP... Your favourite 70's and 80's tones are all in there with EQ pedals for sure. But simply put, it is just killer to have a listen.

Cool vid but it reminds me why I love my Friedman BE-100 so much

Now ask yourself if you give a shit...... nope.

I don't..but I dig the sounds of the superleads that's for sure. The fizzy compressed about to blow up tone here is awesome. Doesn't really work for the drop chugga though. Modern amps definitely have their place and I can see why a lot of guys dropped these in favour of new designs.

Great vid....I wish there was one for high gainers....same guitar, same cab, same type riffs, just different amps and good quality recording.

Yuck. Got through about ten of them and had to turn it off. Don't dig those fuzzy, splatty tones.
What a mess. :aww:

obviously, beggars cant be choosers so i appreciate the clip...

but really a wasted opportunity to me...useful for showing how much gain one can get out of each amp but just completely bludgeons a lot of the nuance and subtelty that would go along with each variant, if you ask me.
