Yeah I like the 2nd clip better as well.
I think Andy was right, the first clip was too bright sounding.
I like the lead tone in the first clip though.![]()
I think the problem was I had the mic to close to the dust cover in the first clip.
The 2nd clip I moved the mic back about half way between the rim of the speaker and dust cover.
It seems to be a sweet spot when miking this amp.
I also added a little more depth by turning up volume II a bit, it kinda bleeds into channel I and adds some lows to the sound.
