You're absolutely right about loud. I think they're around 103dB.
They don't mix well with other speakers because they get drowned out so easily by these monsters.

I think the Wizard works well in many different setups.
It definitely has a G12M sound and feel to it which I like, maybe a little more tighter bottom-end with the Wizards.

Yeah, I have to agree, they do made some great sounding speakers and they have a ton to pick from.

I just doing a much needed cap job on my '68 Plexi but once I'm finished I'm going to try mic'ing the Wizard speaker the same way I mic my greenies.

Against the grill cloth and off axis close to the dust cover.
