I had one a number of years ago, and remember it sounding great with everything. I have an evh greenback in the cab right now, and it sounds pretty laid back, I always remember the wizard as aggressive sounding. Plus they are made in the USA and cheap!!!

I got a chance to play this amp again the other day, and it was totally mind blowing, especially once we plugged it into the cab with the 2 wizard speakers.
Michael makes the amp sing with ease, regardless of which guitar or speakers he's using; but for me, the Ibanez with the AT-1, into the Major, into his cab with the Eminence speakers... man oh man, there are no words. Just jaw dropping tone. Michael always does a great job of capturing fantastic tones from the Major, but getting to actually hear it in person, with a bit of volume, takes it to a whole other level.
Thanks so much Michael for letting me stop by and jam out while I was in town. It was a total blast!!

If you end-up not liking them, don't shoot the messenger.![]()

I think that's the issue with the heats because they are unreal loud. I have a cab with governor and man-o-war loaded in an x pattern. I'm not real keen on those but love the Texas heat. These will match up nicely I think. Thanks for the clips and suggestion.
