Something new I've been working on lately, it's a HellCat Plexi Mod and my '71 Super Lead is the first experience it.
I wanted something that was early Van Halen-ish sounding and was totally vintage Marshall friendly with no drilled holes involved and circuit tweaks which are reversible if need be.
The mods also keep the integrity of the original tone of the amp but with more sustain and gain on tap.
Here's a most recent gut shot of the mods.

and of course a sound clip. :)

Sounds good, but WOW your playing is making me want to go play/practice. Great job!

Excellent makes me want a Marshall again. and yes to the logo

Man! Sounds great! Got a lot of bite, sustain and clarity. I like the logo
Nice playing too

Mike, Does this mod recover the EQ you lose from the Larmar?

For comparison the old R/T Plexi Mod.

HellCat Mod

Both sound good, but i prefer the R/T when you use humbuckers, and the HellCat with singles.

Very cool!

Definitely keeps that Marshall rattiness...absolutely 80s in a box. :D

Very nice playing, as well.
