Hey Guys,

I finally got my H&H V800 back from service, so I had to quickly try it with this awesome Plexi before it goes back to its owner this week.

I restored the Plexi to about '68/69 specs but with higher filtering. Unfortunately, all the original signal and cathode caps were removed in what looked like the 90s and replaced with completely wrong value caps lol. I put in mostly TAD Mustards. It's got new JJ preamp and power amp tubes and F&T filter caps.

The rack is basically the Joe Holmes live setup with an SE70 and 2x SDE3000 + H&H V800
For this setup I used my 1991 Marshall 1960BX miced with an SM57 and a Lenz 2x12 that has one of the Greenbacks from the 1960BX, miced with an SM58.
No FX in the DAW.

Sounds great Eddy as always. Is this W/D/W or are you loading down the 69 into load box then reamping with the H&H V800?

Does this amp still have original transformers? Is it a 100 watt amp?

I thought you couldn't hardly get parts for H&H's anymore?

The Mosfets are gonzo but other parts are out there. HUGE LCR filter caps in mine

It's basically WD/WD using a load box and the V800.

It's a 50w Lead model and has the original transformers.

I think the Mosfets were fine. It just needed new filter caps and some other stuff checked and balanced.
