Up for sale is my gorgeous 1979 Gibson Les Paul Custom. The guitar was professionally refretted with 6100 size stainless Jescar frets and plays like a dream. The work was done at East Side Guitar repair in Portland, OR and is flawless. The guitar is currently sporting Hipshot locking tuners and a TonePros bridge, but the original hardware is included. It's loaded with Suhr Aldrich pickups, but the original T-Tops are also included. The guitar comes with the original hardshell case which is in great shape for its age. $5,500 shipped in the continental USA.

Open to trades or trades + cash locally only in the Hudson Valley in NY for Suhr guitars and amps, a Wizard Modern Classic or a Friedman Arrendondo.

Here's a clip of it in action. Chords have a lot of clarity, but single notes still sound nice and fat.

It's a killer guitar, and with stainless jumbo frets, it'll last another lifetime or two at least.

What was the nut replaced with and what’s it weigh?

Nut was replaced with a Graph-Tech nut during the re-fret to accommodate the taller frets, as well as better tuning stability. It's 10lbs even.
