1981 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Ebony from the Norlin era.
All original, including the Gibson chainsaw case.
9.9lbs
45 years, so it has the honest wear you'd expect. There are some marks, dings, and finish checking throughout the body, but nothing structural. The back of the headstock shows the line from the original 3-piece neck, which is normal on these.
Just to be upfront, two of the pickup ring screws are stripped. Should be a pretty easy fix if you want to deal with it. One of the latches on the case is broken, but it still closes and does the job just fine.
I just brought it for set up and checked over to make sure everything is working as it should. Plays and sounds great.
Great chance to pick up an all-original vintage Les Paul that's been played and enjoyed. Happy to answer any questions or send more photos if needed.
Just a quick heads-up, any customs duties or import fees are the responsibility of the buyer. From my previous experience for US buyers, shipping via Canada Post/USPS usually avoids these extra fees or very minimal. If you decide to go with UPS or FedEx with full insurance instead, please keep in mind that customs charges might pop up. Let me know what works best for you; I'm always happy to work it out.
USD $5,000 Zelle or Paypal FF. Ships from Toronto, Canada through Canada Post/USPS.
