Stopped by a local music store today and found a 1987 Jackson San Dimas custom strat. Single emg humbucker (possibly non original), original floyd rose, very straight and thin maple neck w/rosewood board, frets are in good shape. some scratchs and digs here and there. Has a black body with a white top. There is a label in the trem cavity that has the serial number and other info. Plays great and sounds very resonant unplugged. Overall very good condition with the ohsc. What's it worth? They are asking $729.00

Depending on condition I have seen them sell for $800-$1,400.

It's in pretty good shape, Just needs to be cleaned up and detailed. It's something i woud play for a while and then sell here or on ebay. Have'nt played a neck that wide, thin and flat in a while amd is kind of fun...effortless, sustaining bends, Very cool axe.

From $675 to $900
Probably a Ontario Jackson.
Neckplate reads San Dimas......but its Ontario....

Jackson moved out of San Dimas in 86 but did not run out of San Dimas plates till 87. Anything under 800 is a good price for this guitar especially in good condition.

Don't know about the guitar, but Ontario is only about 10 minutes down the road from San Dimas.

San Dimas are the more sought after in the jackson world with some kind of fake mojo but the bottom line, same people made them at both locations for the most part. Its really just the earlier/lower serial #'s the better :)

Thats not a bad price but the rosewood would be a knock. 600-700 seems about right, try to bead em down a bit

Thanks all for the responses. I'll post some pics if I pick it up!
