I've got a late 80's early 90's Charvel 750xl (top of the line) that's been in storage @ my mom's for the last 5 years so I don't remember the feel of it too much. Anybody know if they had a compound radius on this model or what the radius was?
BTW my mom is visiting tonight and bringing it back to me along with my G&L Jerry Cantrell "reissue" rampage (1 of 70). Can't wait to get them - I'll post pics.

Will do - the Cantrell will be the basic white w/ a Kahler trem but the 750's a cherry burst of some kind - it's been too long can't remember!!

I've owned a few of the jackson professional archtops and a 750xl... 750xl had a much nicer top, but weighed as much as a les paul. :( The jackson pro archtops I had were more than 1/8" thinner bodywise, I know because I had one of each and compared em next to each other. More like 1/4" by my eye. It was almost like on the 750XLs they took a 650 XL and slammed 5/8" of carved maple on top!

I don't have any of them now, but I still have my Charvel model 88 :)
