1x12 Recommendations - Ported? Oversized?

The lead guitarist for this band (the one in front) is playing EVM12S Pro-Lines (the 300W model) in a Traynor YCV80 2x12 open-back combo that's been converted to a stand-alone extension cab with a modded Peavey VK100 going into it and an EQ pedal set to a less thin TS-style frequency response out front. They have two other videos on the channel with him using the same rig. The EVM's were reconed by Speaker Repair Pros in Garden Grove, CA.
 
Thanks for all the great recommendations! I decided to give the V-Boutique V Cube 2x12 a shot. It's about the size of the largest 1x12's like the KSR, but I'm hoping it sounds even bigger. If anyone else is interested, this cab is currently on sale through Reverb. I'm sending them a stereo jack plate to install on the back as well. It will be about the narrowest stereo field possible, but oh well haha. Looking forward to it!
