The sooner people stop romanticizing this shit the better. These kids aren't heros for surviving and this isn't wartime. They are victims of horrific and unnecessary violence. In a couple months you'll forget this ever happened but they will live with the trauma of watching their friends and family get their guts blown out. All because the supposed adults of this country are too cowardly to put a stop to it by getting control over gun violence once and for all.

Gun violence ?🙄 The supposed adults in this country aren’t actually interested in stopping murder and violence. They’re only interested in trying to blame my constitutional rights for their failed policies.

But, tell you what: let's contrast the rhetoric around the Second Amendment along with actual pictures of kids of Sandy Hook and Uvalde with their brains and guts hanging out of their bodies and see how quickly the conversation changes. Americans have been sanitized against this violence for too long. We can find a better way.

I can't imagine even offering the term "optics" around dead American school children. There's no illusion over kids screaming in horror before having their brains blown to smithereens. It's happening over and over.

P.S. Despite the temptation to turn this tragedy into political football it is horrific. I'm guilty, we're all guilty. I hate all of this. These kids deserve a better world than we are giving them. I've worried the last 20 years about my kid because of this insanity.

The chances of your child dying in a mass shooting are almost next to nothing. Meanwhile left wing policy has aborted millions of viable fetus' without even blinking and many left wingers go full rage mode when someone suggests maybe it's time to criminalize abortion like it used to be. That's why I don't believe their the outrage over guns. Gun rights bad, reproductive "rights" virtuous.

Nothing Will ever wash away the love their Family and Friends have for them or the good they brought to the World...... In life they were with the Lord, and God was on their Side always for as long as they were here...... In death they remain with God and Will remain with the Lord forever and eternity.....

Yeah it's uncomfortable. No more uncomfortable though then every leftist politician immediately politicizing every shooting that falls in their narrow little narrative ( which is an extremely small percentage) and totally ignoring the fact that 200 plus people a year are shot to death in Chicago.
