Who sells something that will allow me to hook up one cab to 2 heads. The amps are not being played at the same time. I just don't want to keep switching the cable back and forth.
I want something that will allow me to do this without hurting the amps.

Radial makes a box called a "headbone" that will let you do it.

Suhr is making one, hasn't hit the market yet. Bradshaw too.

As already said, Suhr is working on one, and a 4 amp full feature version... I'm sure it'll be AWESOME, as are all of Suhr's products.

I have the CAE V.1 switcher and it's KILLER

The Radial will be hard to beat if you want simple and effective

Depends on your available funding;just like lawn mowers, you get what you pay for.The new Suhr will probably be cutting edge, The switchblade 'headbone",Skrydstrup, and Bradshaw are on the front lines w/ the more costly gear, radial is a lot cheaper, but still effective....here's another option we sometimes use in the studio and live;...Run each head into its own cab, mike both, and use an a/b box to switch(check your grounds) back and forth,OR combine both!..and you can use different cabs too!....

I have a whirlwind A/B/Y box that allows you to switch between them OR play them both at the same time.. Its the same switcher that Joe Bonamassa uses. Mine a little beat up on the bottom, but if you interested pm me and ill hook you up with some pics (i have the power supply also).

That box is not for switching cabs, it only switches between 2 guitar level outputs or inputs depending on configuration. The Radial box actually switches between the cabinets safely by putting a load on the unused cab.

I don't think it puts a load on the unused amps, which is why you really need to be careful if you're using effects like delay in the loops of one of your amps.

Not if you wait long enough before switching - in one of the JMPs above (vid) is a 300ms delay. Since I'm old it takes about 600ms for me to switch . thats enough :D

I'm suppose to have the Suhr one in two weeks, so I'll let you know how it goes.
