For your consideration...

I have a 2000 EBMM AXIS EX EVH. The EXs were made in Japan after EVH left EBMM.

It has a faded Blue Quilt Top (these guitars were notorious for fading)

These are basically the exact same guitar as the USA made EBMM EVHs. Same body size, shape and design. Same woods. Same toggle placement. Same pickups. Same tuners. Same electronics. Same tremolo system (minus the offset saddles) The biggest difference was the departure of EVHs signature on the headstock. (i added a sig and 5150 decal on this guitar)

The frets are perfect. The neck is straight. Truss rod works perfectly. All electronics work perfectly. Comes with original hard case (pretty rough shape)

This guitar is in great condition for 22 years old! NO BREAKS OR REPAIRS. Set up with 10s...plays great and has great tone!!!

The prices of these guitars along with the USA EBMM EVHs are climbing rapidly since EVHs passing. Don't pay $7000+ for a EBMM EVH, when you can have the exact same guitar, made just like the USA model, for LESS THAN HALF!!!!

$3200 plus shipping

Thanks for looking!

Have you put this up against a USA model, or had one of each in the room at same time? I have seen a few guitar makers say their Japanese line is exactly the same. The only one who came close, was Tyler, and there were some great guitars but also some ok guitars.

How does this compare? Does it feel and sound the same? That would be awesome if they managed to do it.

I have owned many USA EBMM EVHs over the years and these EXs are every bit as good!!!
