Yeah it was a good playoff run, but that doesn't make him a great QB. That team won those games by running the ball and playing great defense. Doug Williams has a ring too. And Trent Dilfer. Not good QB's at all.

Go watch the Championship game in Green Bay again and tell me how Eli played that game. And compared to his brother, you take Peyton for 3.5 quarters. But when there's 2 minutes left in the game and you need a TD, you take Eli. Even before the drive to beat the Pats ELi has come up clutch in many spots. He's far better than the Dilfers of the world, i would put him in the top 10 QB's in the league.

This is hilarious and you know it.

Eli is easily one of the top 10 QBs in the league, but he is overpaid and not better than Peyton, IMHO.

I guess you missed last week when Eli beat the Cowboys in the 2 minute drill? I guess you missed last years Giants/Bengals game? How about the last 30 seconds of first half of the Gaints/Cowboys Championship game, not to mention the Superbowl. Your selective memory is hilarious since it's obvious you base everything on fantasy stats.

Nobody ever said he was better than Peyton, but he's cooler under pressure than Peyton is often times. Does anyone remember how aweful Peyton was in the playoffs before his Superbowl run?

Every QB in the NFL has led his team on comeback drives, c'mon dude. And look it up, Peyton is one of the all-time NFL leaders in 4th quarter comebacks. I think he has around 35-40 now. Eli isn't even close.

And how much longer has Peyton played? I bet Rothlisberger sucks too right? I know Eli looks like shit sometimes but that playoff run he was amazing and he was great last year until Plexiglass shot his cock off   . But he's throwing well this year because he's locked in with Steve Smith and Manningham. And all the passing games get slowed down in the Northeast due to the weather. Look at Brady in 07, they leaned on their defense and running game late in the year because they weren't always putting up 50 points a game in crappy weather.

Ben is insanely overrated as well, yes. He's another guy that definitely shouldn't have 2 rings.

He earned last years ring. But the win over the Seahawks was a joke and he did play like crap in that game. That was the worst officiated Superbowl I've ever seen. I swear the refs were paid off, Holmgren thought so.

You sound like my dad now. He always used to say pro football was rigged.

That game was fishy. What about basketball? The refs were rigging the games and were busted.

And GO TWINS.

I pretty much agree with mark's picks, but I'm going with Chiefs over NY, 49ers over Rams, and my upset pick of the week...Raiders over Texans.

Chiefs over the Giants would be quite the upset. I can see Raiders over Texans. It's hard to say how both of those teams are gonna play week to week.

Detroit Lions at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m.

Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m.

Seattle Seahawks at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m.

NY Giants at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m.

Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots, 1 p.m. (the Ravens D is playing so well that it's hard to pick against them...I'd rather the pats win though)

Tampa Bay Bucs at Washington Redskins, 1 p.m. (yeah, this game is gonna stink...no idea who will win this one, so I'll take the home team when in doubt)

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. (all 3 weeks I haven't picked either of these teams correctly...I'll go with TEN)

Oakland Raiders at Houston Texans, 1 p.m. (I hate the Raiders, but Houston can't run or stop the run, which I think will cost them...however if they can force Oakland to throw the ball they'll win)

NY Jets at New Orleans Saints, 4:05 p.m. (best game of the week IMHO. The Jets have impressed me lately and I can see them pulling off an upset, but I'm not betting against the Saints when they are at home. If this was in NY I'd have picked the Jets. If they win they'll make a believer out of a lot of people)

Buffalo Bills at Miami Dolphins, 4:05 p.m. (I can see this game going either way...either Miami runs the ball well or Buffalo passes the ball well...again I'll take the home team)

St. Louis Rams at San Francisco 49ers, 4:15 p.m.

Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos, 4:15 p.m. (f**k the cowboys, I'll never pick them when they play Denver)

San Diego Chargers at Pittsburgh Steelers, 8:20 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 5

Green Bay Packers at Minnesota Vikings, 8:30 p.m. (2nd best game of the week, should be fun to watch)

The Ravens defense really isn't playing that well. Philip Rivers threw for 436 yards and 2 TD's against them and even the pathetic CHiefs put up 24 points on the Ravens and were tied with them in the 4th quarter. The Browns totally suck so i wouldn't put much stock in that game.

It's Ravens offense that's been a big suprise. Flacco is pretty damm good.

True, the passing defense hasn't been up to par, but they're still 7th overall in total D and 1st against the run, which is nothing to sneeze at. Part of it is I feel like I have to make at least a couple of upset picks every week, and this was one of them because I think Brady is still not up to his usual standards. He will be soon though I think. Did you see how frustrated and pissed he was last week? I can't remember the last time I saw that from him...I'd love for him to prove me wrong though, I don't like Baltimore all that much....

I've decided to flip flop on the Miami pick. M. Lynch coming back and C. Pennington out, I'll take Buffalo instead.
