Looking forward to the Bengals resting players next week.
Go J E T S

Unreal. As shitty a season as they've had and they make the playoffs with a win. Well, as long as they keep the Steelers out.

Josh McIdiot is really gonna hear it if Denver doesn't get in. How can you start 6-0 and then just absolutely fall apart like that? Sad that some people were jumping on the Kyle Orton bandwagon. The guy sucks.

I'm sure the Colts players were not happy about being pulled. No real competitor wants to watch the game from the bench no matter what "strategy" is involved.

I don't think coming cold off the bench to play a playoff game in the NFL-style 1-game-means-all format is a good idea. Even if you're Peyton Manning, it's better to keep working and just make things as smooth as possible. Obviously it's been working for him the past 23 games in a row, resting two weeks is not going to somehow make him better for it.

I wanted the Colts to win it all and go 19-0 so Mercury Morris can shut up. I was on his side against the Pats, but the guy is so annoying. The Teams from today would crush his Dolphins easily. QB's today are bigger than the Linebackers back then.

ha! i thought i was the only one who found Mercury annoying!

I think everyone that isn't a Dolphins fan finds Mercury Morris annoying. The guy is a total douche.

I don't think they're getting in. They need a lot to break right for them. The Jets need to just beat the Bengals and they're in. The Bengals have nothing to play for and will probably rest players. I think if the Ravens win and they're in as well.

Even after the Bears victory last night, I still think coaching changes are needed. I would love to see Shanahan come in as the head coach or Charlie Weis as the Offensive Line coordinator. Ron Turner needs to go.

On a different note, I can't seem to get a bead on the Eagles, they are usually better than they look, but seem to always come up short. Should be a good Eagles/Cowboys game this Sunday....

Yeah, I'm not holding my breath...after losing to Oakland at home, I figured they weren't getting in. They can't seem to finish strong for whatever reason... I'm still hoping they make it though, f**k Baltimore/Houston/Pittsburgh!

As for Kyle Orton, I actually have been pleasantly surprised with his play...after Cutler left I thought they would be way worse off than they have been. He's just average- ranked around 15th in most QB categories- not shitty but not someone you can count on to win a game on his own. Jake Delhomme...now he sucks   The problem is the running game...they haven't had a genuine #1 back since they traded Portis for Bailey, and the offensive line is not built for pass protection, it's light and fast and built for running. Moreno has done alright, but they need a true #1 RB to step up in order for the QB, Orton or otherwise, to be effective. They've been doing more of a running back by committee type thing the last couple of years, and it's been a far cry from Terrell Davis destroying teams...

Remember it's the Jets were talking about here.  How about fatso Rex Ryan. last week his Christmas wish was that the Colts sat their players. He said that in an interview. Now, this week he thinks his team deserves more credit for the win! Damm, the coach and that team just love to shoot their mouths off.

I think the Jets are gonna play awful against Cincy, even if they rest most of their stars. I don't trust Sanchez at all and they haven't been consistent at all this year.

Funny thing about the Jets is they are number 1 in rushing and defense in the NFL. Usually with those 2 things a team should dominate. But with these gay rules treating the recievers like The President, the NFL wants high scoring and passing. But yes, Sanchez is a disaster and has cost the Jets at least 2 or 3 games by himself.

But the Jets do have the best shutdown cover guy in Football, Darrelle Revis.

I loaded up betting the idiots at work the game. Jets straight up - no points.
Play awful? No way.
Play like the JETS maybe.

Looks like no playoffs for Rapistburger and the Stealers*

That's because the Raiders put JaMarcus "lol, it's JaMarcus Russell" Russell in the game one score down.

I can only imagine Big Ben's jowls quivering with sadness after seeing #2 step on the field, knowing that his playoff dreams were over.

Go Rams. First pick FTL. Whoever they pick better not be a bust. :aww:

Yeah, looks like the Jets are going to hold on for a win. Welker got hurt right? That's a big blow for them. Chargers and Colts in the AFC Championship. And damm, the Cowboys are picking the right time to peak. Their defense looks good right now. agh....fuck them  But i hate the Eagles more.
