Like the idea of being TOTALLY over the top:

Things being replaced:

Lexicon PCM80 (Died) Replacing w/ PCM81
Old Furman PL8+ w/ newer model
Replacing the MXR 10 Band EQ (which I nearly NEVER use) w/ an Ethos Drive pedal
Considering replacing the Korg DTR-1 w/ a Peterson VR Strobe tuner.

Things to add in 2012:

Dyno My Piano Tri-Stereo Chorus
Perhaps another Eventide H8000FW (undecided, but leaning toward YES)

As a result of the new additions, I will talk w/ Bob Bradshaw about another line mixer and possibly a 4x4 or something like that to accomodate the new additions, along w/ perhaps an RJM Amp Gizmo for MIDI amp switching.

I figured I will talk to Bob about how to incorporate another Amp Selector to drive up to 8 amps instead of the way I have it now w/ 4. :D

While doing that, I will likely replace the current A&S case w/ a Kriz Kraft case

Amps for 2012

Cameron CCV (DEFINITELY)
Perhaps a Cameron Atomica (Undecided)
Suhr PT-100

Thoughts???

If it makes even a little sense financially, and it's something you want, then I don't see how it could go wrong.

How much does your current rig weigh? Just out of curiosity :D

200 lbs for the big rack. The amps, cabs, Floor Controller, Power amp rack, guitars, and box of cables etc... around 800-1000 lbs all together, including the Big rack. (Not counting ALL of my gear), just the (3) cab w/d/w rig w/ the 4 amps, power amp, floor controller in the case, guitars and tools/cable case.

That CCV will be all you need Zack.....get rid of a lot of that excess gear in the process

As Awesome as the CCV is, and I have played through them, and I am entusiatically looking forward to adding it to the stable... It doesn't do it all.... NOTHING does.

All the excess gear is staying right where it is.

We like rental gear ;)

I used to carry around the VH4 and Uberschall in a road case with 4 or 5 rack pieces. Jeez, what a nut buster. I always wanted a roadie. But, they would look at it and go....HELL NO!

There is a good reason why there are no amps in my Big rack... GRAVITY.   ;)

Roadies are really nice to have. That much is CERTAIN!!!

Man... that sure is alot of gear to bring to a show at the local VFW.

I guarantee you'd sound just as good with a Paul, tuner, wah, boost, chorus, echoplex into a Plexi and one 4x12.

But if it makes you happy, go for it.

YUP. A CCV won't sound like your Mark III and the Mark III won't sound like the CCV. And those old Coliseum III's are awesome.

Does the 1000lbs include the Steve Vai "Pageantry" Fan?
