2016 Splawn QR B+ : "Romeo Delight" from Saturday night

It's not the best quality vid...but I think you can get a feel for what this amp sounds like...this is the "easiest to play" Splawn I've ever had.

A little more sag I believe. Mine is a Low B+as well but never played the regular version.

Clip sounds awesome man! Love the Quick Rod. Does yours have the new switches for Old/New and Mid Shape?

I just listened...sounds good man. The 212 sounds real rich, best i can hear,...but i'm a fanboy of the 5153-212 cab anyways. The QR more "authentic" to the old school VH sound?

Hey man, the B+ drops the voltage down to 90 to create more sag...it's nothing you can really here...it's more feel...this QR was the first one that I ever had that I could play straight out of the box...I had to boost my other ones...and this new one is DEAD quiet...and all the gears are usable...I really couldn't hear a difference before between the gears. It's the best QR I've ever had.

Yup...running through the EVH 2X12...I have like 3 4X12s...it's just easier bringing a 2X12...plus, I like the sound of that cab...

Yup, it has all the new switches...I have it set with the mids "NOT cut" (lol) and it's set to the "New" voicing...

You can't tell from the vid but I was up pretty loud in the room... and the tone really was very MODDED plexi...the 5153 I felt just had way too much gain...this is MUCH closer to the classic VH sound.
