We have prob 14" of snow right now, just did some shoveling. Snow is nice and light thankfully. Tomorrow i'll fire up the rig and clear the driveway. I have a HUGE driveway, will prob take 3-4hrs.

If you had something like this it would take no time. Just blast the snow away in an instant with a massive sound wave.

We had 8-10". Took me a couple hours to do both driveways and all the walkways. With a shovel.

It snowed until 11pm last night, so had to remove snow again this morning.

That 110ºF day is coming up tomorrow.

Not looking forward to it at all.
Trade you in a heartbeat. Winter and snow can kiss my ass. I am genetically engineered for hot weather. When it dips below 60 my mood sours. When it dips below 30 I start to get angry. 14 inches of snow on the ground and forecast lows of -14F. It’s stupid… 😑

I'm kinda the opposite. Negative temps are a bit much for me, but I prefer it cold over hot & humid like it mostly is down south.

I always say you can easily put more clothes on to keep warm, but you can only take so much off before someone calls the cops. :ROFLMAO:

I have low tolerance for cold and low tolerance for heat and humidity. The only place I lived where the weather was near perfect almost all year round was San Diego. June gloom did kinda suck though. Otherwise, where I’m at now, I’m either sweating profusely or shivering my nuts off.

Same here bro'. I'm fine with over 100ºF as long as there's a breeze.

BTW I still wear long johns, a vest, a spencer and a T-shirt in summer, so yeah, "genetically engineered" for the heat on my end too.

Trouble is, with no aircon, my house becomes stifling. It was still roughly 100 at 3 this morning. Even with the doors open and fans set up to blow air through, the house's a bitch to cool down.

My record in winter is 4ºC, same as the fridge. I could've left its door open for that entire week. Did I mention I can't afford to run heating? Now that's a challenge for someone who's extremely cold-sensitive. I've barely felt my feet the last 45 years since I've been here. I thaw out late in summer and then it's back-on.

Sounds like where I live bro'.

It's as if 25ºC or anything near it is verboten.

In summer we'll have 40ºC one day and 16ºC the next. Why not settle halfway? Ridiculous.

Yup it's the same here! Of all the places I have lived, Texas is by far the worst when it comes to schizophrenic weather. The temperatures can flip flop within the same day and it's bizarre. It felt nice today, but its going to drop to about 20 degrees F in a few hours or so. My main issue with the cold is that I will sometimes shiver uncontrollably. My mom has the same issue so I got that from her. I also have reynaud's syndrome. My fingers will turn white and the "needles in the finger tips" feeling is just awful and painful. :(

You wouldn't believe it - I have similar problems with the cold. You should see my feet. They're a mess from 45 years of this shit. I've had those same needles in my feet all this time. Nowadays there's an additional random sprinkling of more-intense stabbing pain that nothing seems to be able to prevent. Prevents me from sleeping.

I also shiver uncontrollably. I can't even take my shirt off to shower until I heat the bathroom to 28+ºC. So yeah, I barely shower at all for 8 months of the year.

Good to know I'm not-alone brother.

You're definitely not alone! 🥹 For my feet, my mother had bought me a few pairs of these super thick socks which have helped tremendously. My hands however, I cannot seem to keep them from getting insanely cold. I've tried different gloves and what not, and so far I haven't found anything that prevents them from getting cold or stopping the needles in the finger tips feeling. I'm always decked out though. Hoodie, with my pea/trenchcoat on top, with the hood on, gloves and those thick socks. Sometimes I get funny looks when I'm out in public but those people just don't understand. 🥲

LOL My mom bought me socks many times too. Never worked, just like the gloves for you. The thing that "helped" the most was when I discovered ski pants.

I gave up trying to warm my hands. Gloves didn't work for me either. Chilblains through the first part of winter are just something I expect and accept these days.
