2026 Namm Rumors thread!

The new Suhr / Pete Thorn amp is what I’m waiting for NAMM for this year. Cannot wait actually!
Pretty sure in Pete’s last Sunday show he said the new amp would NOT be ready for NAMM. I think he said it’s a 50W version of his small PT amp.

%#+%+>.

But also: I’ve been gigging my PT100 for 10 years and LOVED the 15 for recording. I go direct with IRs so I thought the 15 was going to be perfect live, but the FX loop clipped my effects and made them sound weird compared to how they sounded in my PT100’s loop. So I’ve been begging for a PT50ir so I can have the amp I like without lugging separate IR stuff. Been waiting for like… 5 years now? So why wouldn’t it be ready for NAMM this year. Makes sense.

Its time the rumor thread ends, don't we have boots on the ground?!

Another cool release, I am intrigued :

Almost what I want...I usually use a computer rig these days; I have plugins on my home computer, and I built a portable computer rig on a Dell windows rugged touchscreen tablet. They both require an audio interface, and I use a KMI SoftStep2 MIDI floor controller.

If this EHX pedal had true VST host capabilities, with the ability to load / select different patches from different plugins, assign plugin controls, to pedal knobs, and it already has a built-in audio interface....I could ditch the tablet, audio interface, and floor controller.

I've been waiting for a VST-host computer in the format of a MFX pedal like a Boss GX-100. Maybe I'll live to see it!

Pics/details from now on!!!!!!!!
If pics and details are posted from the source then it's not a rumor , it would just be information. Just saying cause the title of the thread is "rumors" lol.

They've been saying that for several years. Where did you see it? I'd like more info!
Namm is in a week or so. A well known industry guy told me. Not gonna name drop because it is a rumor.

Edit: Said he saw it with his own eyes at some other convention recently

It hasn't started so rumors it is!!

Very curious what the fuck this is all about.

Machine learning may give it the ability to adapt (sound and feel) like different power amps with different power tubes, depth and presence. Make sense to have power sections that can vary for Synergy modules. If it works and sounds good, it could be great for Synergy.

I'm going to guess that under the marketing this is like something like applying IRs to a power amp to change the response / eq for different amps. ML is probably only potentially involved in capturing if at all.

I was thinking the same thing. On my 20IR, some of the adjustments really make a difference with the feel like vintage, modern, etc. If there is something that adds even more to that, would be really cool.

On FB they answered some questions, evidently it reacts to speaker type and module type. Will be interesting to see how they implement it. Likely means they’ll rerelease all the amp platforms with it baked in. I’d love a 50 watt 2 module head with this and IRs built in.
