I haven't made one mention of hating him and none of my comments have been personal. I do not like the tone of alot of his clips. It's an opinion. I don't like any Mesa Amps, or the tone of any SLO, or Diezel I've heard. I also don't like clips where you can here the guitar strings because the amp volumes are to low and do not provide an accurate representation of an amp when pushed a little. I hate active pickups. I think it sounds great... Reza's clips always sound a bit fizz to me so knowing that and knowing how a lot of these modded amps sound, I think it sounds just as good as any Friedman and can do the same thing for quite a bit less $. I'd rock that amp.

I enjoy a variety of styles of reviews, nobody likes the same style. I think the amp sounds good in the OP, i will take a listen through my monitors later.
If I am hearing a demo of an amp, I like to hear both how it sounds in the room as well as recorded through a mic. Preferebly a common microphone.
I get the least out of a review in a heavily processed mix with ten tracks being ran through a whole mess.

Here are my thoughts after hearing through monitors, I noticed more how I did like how the Reza dude dialed it in. In my humble opinion I would not go about demonstrating the way the Reza did. I think that it sounds decent but I think the way that it was demonstrated, it could likely sounded a lot better.
V2, nice stuff, I see you are showing good potential. Thumbs up bro! I would prefer to hear a different demo of it. I think the amp could sound better. Good luck! I am happy to see 6V6 lower wattage high gain amps popping up. One question, are the switches footswitchable? Or just on the head?

For anyone who wasn’t around a few years ago, things got heated with Reza in off topic. Several people were over the line in attacking him; I think a lot of it was left wing vs right wing nonsense
I love Reza clips. The guy has a killer stable of amps and produces a lot of content for us to hear.

I've learned to take recordings/clips with a grain of salt. Most of the time, they really don't represent, (fully), their true tones.
Getting into a shit-storm, and criticizing recording techniques, playing, etc, is basically redundant, and accomplishes nothing. I know some of you are just technical geniuses, know everything, and own the best gear, but, more than not, are really just full of yourselves and legends in your own minds.

One thing I found odd was that the gain was dimed most of the time. I can't remember the last time I have ran setup at full gain. It just seems odd for a review. Maybe that is why the clipping is so extreme.
If I may ask how to these paid demos go? Is he told what settings to use? And with what gear? Is there any integrity in this scenario at all? Is he free at all to state a real opinion?

1. I like Reza's demos. And I had his heavy style in mind when I tweaked this particular amp.
2. Reza normally doesn't do free demos (as far as I know). He and JerEvil have been very kind to me (due to some personal circumstances).
3. I don't think Reza was just faking his like for the amp. He did have some critical/negative feedback about my lousy website.
