I've been thinking of the upcoming 250th birthday recently, myself - I vividly remember as a kid in 1976 when they painted all of the fire hydrants red, white, and blue in my neighborhood and then going to the big celebration at the Miller Outdoor Theatre. It'll be interesting to see how things are now, 50 years later in this day and age.

I think it should be great and people should recognize, revisit history and be proud of what makes the country so great. Hope to make a trip to the capital next year too hopefully for a couple days maybe. That would be cool too.
