So i tried an 26.5 scale ibanez today and i love the extra meat on the upper frets. So i've been looking at the kiesel vader and the sbc 7. So how is the tension forma standard tuning? Thanks!

Little heavier....but not bad. I regularly do whole step bends on a 30.3" 8 string....you shouldn't have any trouble.

Yeah I had a 27" scale Ibanez 7-string with .09s tuned to standard. Tension felt about like a 25.5" scale with .010s IMHO. I liked that guitar a lot. Not sure why I sold it.
