so this could be a fun demo... i'm thinking about throwing together a clip to explore and discover my new 2ch recto.

Send me your settings and i'll try to include a sample of each one into the video.

Could be fun.

Speaker will be v30 with a 57 mic most likely.
Tuning in drop B

Sounds fun. Always terrifying to post your tone settings on a forum. My settings:

Diodes, bold. Red channel, Modern. Gain: 6 Volume: 2 (my ears hate me these days) Bass: 3 Middle: 7 Treble: 6 Presence: 4

On all the rectos I’ve had, both 3 and 2 channels, Gain 2-2:30, Treb 1:00, Mid 11:00, Bass 12:00, Pres between 10-11:00. For both Vintage and Modern, although I mostly used Vintage as I really don’t like Modern.

EL34’s, Orange, Modern or Vintage (both great), Bold, usually silicon diodes, but sometimes use tube rectifier mode too with good quality vintage GZ34’s or 5U4’s, fx loop bypassed, so no master volume

Pres: maxed
Bass: noon ball park
Mids: noon ball park
Treble: 1:30 ball park
Gain: 1-2 o’ clock (less if boosted)
Vintage USA 5881’s & 6CA7’s can also be cool in it

For boosts I’ve liked most my 2022 version Tamura modded TS’s, Fortin TS808, original Klon centaur silver (no horse), but that last one is maybe cheating since it makes anything sound a lot better lol
