2nd Run of the " Tone of Kings " pedal

it is a King of Tone ...... with Griffin Analog design touches .... NOS JRC4580's and same diodes used in the original ... all sourced from SmallBear

separate ins and outs for each side .... so you could actually run each side separate .... or utilize it as a loop and put what ever you want between the two sides .... if you have nothing in the inner jacks it works just like a normal combo pedal .... the right side will run into the left ... no patch cable needed ...

gain switches on top ....... presence trim pots for each side are internal as well as the dip switches to configure the diode pattern
Could you explain the diode switches, I've never messed with the inside of my pedal

if the switches are down ..... you don't have any diodes in the signal path ... any clipping you hear is from the op amp ... this is useful in a high gain setting cause you're just getting the push of the opamp without automatic clipping happening .... so essentially if you set it right ... you'll just get a really clean boost ..

left switch up will put 4 diodes in a symmetrical pattern ( soft clip ) the more diodes the more compression ... less volume ..

left switch down right switch up is 2 diodes in a asymmetrical pattern ( hard clipping )

both switches up gives you 6 diodes in a asymetrical ( hard clip )

so depending how you're running it ... you will need to adjust the volume accordingly ...

I mashed my big toenail once and it turnt green like that face and the whole works fell out. I had a good time pulling it all the way loose from the nail bed, grossing people out. I thought about making it into a necklace. I should've....
