It's pretty sweet. I got good low gain stuff out of it. I set it up as a clean boost, and as a drive to crunch the clean channel. The bass switch was good too, but it did not knock the Chiron Deluxe off of its throne for bass.
I got an MXR Thump the other day to check out at the same time. Both the Thump and the Monkey were great for a clean boost. The Thump had that sweet saturation, but no gain. The Monkey had the gain, but no color (kinda the selling point). The Chiron Deluxe won because it's best at both. I really liked the Thump, but I don't think I'll ever use it.
