Gotcha, never played through those.
Apparently, they have a very flat curve....which explains a lot to me. They played very nice with my SS power amp and modeler.

I think they were perfect for the 80s wdw rack crew, as there were many options processing and pre amp wise, and they were ideal for those set ups.

Not anything to seek out, just neat to have. Especially in the world filled with v30s and cream back celestions. Immediately helps one be heard, because it has a different response from those.

2 still in stock form. With original drivers, which get shit on, but are amazing, to me.

One I wired in stereo, and another I put eminence swamp thangs into.

Oddly enough, the cab I keep going back to is the all original one. Can't seem to leave it.

I got so lucky when I found these.
I had the similar Riveras, which I gigged for years.

I have a Bogner OS 2x12 that confirms what you are saying. It’s punchier than my Marshall 4x12. I’ve had the 2/12 for probably 20 years. It’s almost as big as the 4x12 tho. 4x12s have a weird phasing issue that makes it less punchy, I think. I might be talking out of my ass
