Haha thx dude! Actually the mids were almost scopped, like a hair above the last line on the GEQ! It's just that all mesa marks have tons of mids ! The peaveys sound great for recording with the mids at 9 o clock. From my experience with the ultra plus so far, it seems to me that it sounds A LOT like the bastard child of a mesa boogie mark III - IV! I had read several posts from people claiming that it sounds really close to the mark iv so this is one of the reasons I pulled the trigger! Again, this is the 60 watts version with 2 power tubes!
