And yeah, no Marshall is anything like a Trainwreck

A Liverpool sold on eBay for $25,500 (plus $125 shipping) in June of 2007. Offers of $30,000 have been made on Trainwreck Rockets but these offers have never been accepted.

Imagine paying $25,500 for an amp and then having it shipped to you

I think I'd be driving to pick that up in person.....
Right? And a $25,000 amp was shipped AND insured for $125? To where, the house next door?

A good late 60`s Marshall will do the same thing, volume and good hands.
Bullshit. You can even hear in that squashed YouTube video above that that Trainwreck is the next level.
Where’s the like button...

geartorial s1:e20 also the Glenn dude is playing a real 59. Wtf did this place take a right turn to tgp? These amps have been around for a long time.

It doesn't get any better than this! Even if you're not into classic rock guitar tone, it's an interesting video. Playing begins at 14:00 time marker. They try out various speakers near the end of the clip. Get your earplugs ready for the Vintage 30 demo...

Clips are clips and don't do any amp justice, but there's not a thing in any one of those excites me. I feel like I could get those same tones and dynamics of the those amps with a Germino or Wizard :dunno:

The guitar in this case makes a huge difference.
The SG in the latter video made a huge difference too, right? :D

At least it's better than that asshole trying to get 30k for his blue face VH4.

Real PAF pickups and 60 year old wood cannot be replicated fyi

i see people say this.. if that is the case why do we give albums credence and not clips?? isnt an album basically just organized clips which most have been highly processed? i think if i held an iphone up next to my head and recorded it would play back something pretty similar to what im actually hearing

Don't know of any monumental recording done with a trainwreck or a Cameron for that matter

I've played a 1957 LP Standard and 1959 LP Jr. I've also played Historic replicas that IMO sounded just as good, maybe better. I would have needed to play them through the same amp Marshall plexi as the '57 and '59 to make a accurate comparison. The aged pickups play a huge role in the sound of those early instruments, absolutely.

A VOX EF86 channel amplifer + KOT pedal is just about the finest sound I've ever heard.
