Randomly came across this video on youtube. Blew my socks off. Anyone have any experience with these? They sound cool as shit.

Never played one but the clips sound great. Buy used if you decide to go with one because the price one these drop like a rock. I see them FS on TGP a bit.

I had an HD100 for a week, and then another three weeks trying to sell it, I mean give it away. Decent build quality. It was too dark

Bananas at large was selling 2 HD100's that Neil Schon owned. One was El34, the other 6L6. I've never played one either but when the pop up for sale and for less than half of the new price, it does make one wonder what's up. Also, the triangular 3x12 cabs were a bit out in left field for me.

I have the British Dream Mk1, which I got a very good deal on through Guitar Center (the Mk2 took its place). Great amp -- Vox on one side, Plexi on the other, takes pedals well if you want a little more gain. Just a really nice amp that I can't see myself ever getting rid of.

3rd Power's 'HybridMaster' is -- by far -- the best approach I've seen for getting good tone at low volumes, and I've used attenuators, power scaling, attenuating speakers, etc. If you play at home or at smaller gigs, it's the way to go.

Highly recommended. I'd LOVE to get the Citizen Gain.
