Just wanted to show what the famous 46&2 SLO build sounds like. This isn't high gain, so don't expect that.

Sounds nice. I've build a few of these. Rob from C3 Amps in Van Alstyne, TX has all the parts.

Cool stuff. I was so close to buying this amp when it was for sale. ;0)

Wait, what's a 46&2 SLO ?
it's the SLO circuit amp that our proud member "FourT6and2" made.

btw, i am waiting for the 2nd "high gain" clip .

Thanks - I’ll make a new vid with higher gain but it will be after spring break.

Sounds great! Lemme know when/if you decide to move it. I was close to pulling the trigger on that one.
What was that guitar younwere playing? I’m looking for a strat, hss style.

So am I. I was expecting to hear some Tool songs, despite the mention that the clip is not "high gain".

ha! Not really a Tool guy, more of a Eric Johnson guy.

That's actually a Fender CS '54, regular SSS. I put a Lollar Special S in the bridge, but it is still just a regular strat-style (A5/albeit hotter wind) pickup. Same guitar as in this vid (through a Dirty Shirley):

I realize vids don't really do anything justice, but there is a depth to the SLO clone that kinda puts it on another level when compared to the DS vid.
Loved the Lollar special that came in my Nash Tele.
