Hi all, I might have a deal on a slightly damaged 4x12 Bogner Cab (slanted, rear loaded) that needs the grill cloth to be replaced.

Any previous experience on this?

how much should the new grill cloth going to costs? is it a simple work to do (for both the DIY scenario where I'm buying just the grillcloth or where I'm buying the overall front frame)?

Every input is highly appreciated!! :)

It's not an easy project. Getting it strait and tight is tricky and getting the piping strait is even trickier.
You can buy a new baffle from Bogner or ask a cab builder for a price to do it. The grill frame comes out. Screwed in from the back unless it's a front loader then it just pulls out.

If you can find a good upholstery shop in your town, you can have it done for around 50-80 bucks (many of them have done speaker cloths before) as long as you have the new cloth. Had a few cabs reclothed, played many shows where fools accidentally kick holes in it dancing on stage.

I believe that if you go the route of buying it from Bogner, it is $200 for a new grill. I asked a while ago, and I believe that was the price.
