Hey guys, i really want to mod my 5150 iii blue channel to the stealth. There is on other thread around here but the pics of the insides are not the greatest, so... If someone would graciously post some inside shots of the mods would be awesome..

The only photos I have are of the carnage inflicted by FedEx, where an OT broke loose and took the tubes out like a bowling ball. Very ugly. Repaired back to new condition and more than paid for by FedEx. I call it my free amp now.

Stick an overdrive or an EP boost in front of channel two. I modded mine and then went back to stock. I felt that the boost offered better tone and feel. YMMV.

I dont like so much tap dancing, Id rather mod it to the current spec.

Thanks, yea that's the thread I was talking about, the pics are blurry and hard to read.. Which is why i was hoping some good samaritan would do us all a service and post some clearer pics..

I had my old 5153 modded to Stealth specs by Jens Kruse. The blue channel had a lot more gain. Just not enough gain on the standard 5153 blue channel when stock.

I ended up getting an actual Stealth after that and that thing had massive amounts of gain.

Ok so why did you get the stealth when you modded your old one? Wouldnt they be the same thing?
