True. But we just keep putting more people on it.
Eventually the planet will need some help.
That's where we are right now imo.
where are your major areas of population growth? where are your biggest environmental polluters? Not Europe and North America. Yet we are constantly hammered by these eco types like it's our sole burden...where does it end? Where's the global parity? "You vill eat dee bugs...and you vill like it..."

When humans weren't running rampant like they are now. But yeah the planet probably will fix itself eventually and after it wipes out enough life forms with more and bigger natural disasters. Be nice if that didn't need to happen though.
that's the cycle of life though. nature is a cruel mistress....not the loving gaia earth mother bullshit that seems to get portrayed. lol....

Anybody here ever think about the water that's removed from our closed system and brought to the ISS every year never to be seen on earth again?

but nothing wrong with trying....and we have gotten better. Remember when the river caught on fire in- was it Cleveland in the 70's? Because it was so polluted. You remember that Donnie?

You remember that Donnie?

There was a time where you couldn't see the San Gabriels from downtown Pasadena. Lol. We're not talking hundreds of miles either.

More recently, remember the changes that happened during the covid lockdown? Jellyfish returned to Venice. You could see across the street in Mumbai.

We live in a chemical soup. When I was a kid it was estimated that cancer would affect 1 in 4 families. Now it's more like 1 in 4 in every family.

Anyhow, the root problem is too many people. It will self correct. And it's going to be ugly. I am glad I lived in the most prosperous period in history and don't have to be part of the generation that will pick up the mess when the shtf.
