Can anyone tell me who made the tuners for the mid 80's pointy headstock Charvel guitars? I'm thinking Schaller, or maybe Gotoh?

What angle is the 'tab' that holds the screw at? As I recall, the 'parallel' tabs (i.e. everything makes a nice line on the back of the head) were Gotoh SG36..

They are at the bottom right side of the housing.

Early US made pointy it's probably Gotoh SG36s. Japanese made ones of the post '86 era are probably Jackson made tuners.

On the US made pointys, most common were the non-logo Gotoh SG36 tuners. Occasionally you will find Gotoh tuners with the logo, and occasionally they used Grover tuners.

Thanks guys! I'm looking for some MOP tuner buttons, and need to find ones that will work with those tuners.
