Anyone here use ezdrummer by toontracks?
IF so, it is a vst or dx or stand alone program???
I need a drum program that isn't so labor intensive.

I use ezdrummer with Cubase SX3 as a vst instrument.
It is easy to use and sounds pretty good imo.

I use it brother and I love it!! I actually purchased it the day it came out. Great sounds, very easy and quick to use and its not to labor intensive. I shelved DKFH after getting EZ because it was so much easier for a putz like me to work with!!

Phil uses it with very good results. I should have been using it but fell for the glamour of BFD and now paying the price

Hey Ralphie! Thanks much bro! Is this thing a stand alone version as well or do you have to use it as a VST instrument? I have heard stuff that Phil does with it and I have watched the tuts on it's site.
If is it stand alone I WILL buy it... If it is VST, I suppose I can load up Nuendo and work with it there. I would prefer stand alone though by far. VST instruments tend to crash Nuendo at times and I hate to lose work. I have DKFH as well and it works me to death to be honest!

DKFHS is a pain in the buttocks! I really dig the sounds, especially with the expansion kits but even AFTER you learn the program, it works me to death to come up with drums I dig that don't sound
like I quantizied them!

Sup Bro!!

Its basically a plug-in but I think they now offer a player. That said, I use it in Fruity-loops because I love how FL is setup for sequencing. I then bounce the track to a .wav file and paste in in the recording software or you can call it into your recording software as a plugin, but I prefer to work in Fruityloops. There's a lot of ways you can use the software!

Hey man

i use EZYdrummer and DKHF with nuendo and it hasnt crashed once. Seems very stable so far...

but i guess everyones computers are different

I use EZDrummer but I don't think it's possible to use it as a standalone app.
It's a great product!
