I originally bought this guitar from someone here. I believe, about four years ago, if I remember right.
I can’t remember who built it. Whoever built it, was obviously in Alabama fan. Lol.
I sold the guitar a little over 2 1/2 years ago to a fella about 25 miles away from where I live. And I just saw the Guitar posted back up on Facebook marketplace a few months ago. I messaged the guy and we talked a little bit, and I kind of went back-and-forth about whether I was going to buy it back.
Since I hadn’t seen the Guitar in over two years, I decided to meet up with him last night and it all came back to me. It is a very light, very resonant guitar. He said that it was exactly as it was when he sold it to me except for strings, obviously.
So, I decided to bring it back home again, and I’m glad I did cause I forgot how wonderful this guitar sounds! It has great Tone!
It has a nice big fat 50s net carve. The body and the neck are mahogany, the top is a monster carved maple flame top. Bridge pick up is a LOLLAR standard wind. The neck pick up is a Van Zandt. I’m not sure about the Fret board, it’s a very light colored wood. I’m pretty sure it’s not Rosewood.
The builder sculpted the neck heel area very similar to a Gibson Les Paul Axcess model. Which makes access to the upper Frets much much easier.
It’s super lightweight. I didn’t put it on the scale last night, but I’m thinking it’s maybe a frog hair under 8 pounds?
Anyway, it’s a really sweet Guitar! I’m really glad I got it back!
