It's thin, but not super Wizard type thin. It feel good. The pics don't show it well, but it's tinted which looks and feels great.

Yep, that's exactly why I love them. They've not flat like the Wizard. I never really felt comfortable with those. These Charvels are more C shaped and just perfectly fit into my hand. The newer Charvels just don't feel the same, not even the same ballpark. The fretwork on these older ones was spot on, neck joint was super tight, and they were consistent. Every one I've played has been like that.

Candy Blue looks really nice on these, bet the pictures don't really do it justice.

Ah, I've got a Jackson Fusion. I actually don't know too much about them. I got this one back in around 90-91, paired up with my Bandit rig. That was the whole rig. That corner. A Kramer 610 hanging on the wall to the left and an Eston Acoustic (Ovation copy) hanging on the right. Teak panel walls. Yay.
It's now got a BL500 in the bridge. I should take a recent pic of it.

Do it! I jammed with a friend who had a '90s Charvel Fusion Pro with the same basic design back in the day and it was a cool axe....

That's the 500XL at the bridge, correct? I have it in a Charvel and it was made to be with the '59N.

I think so. I get confused which one is which over the years, but I recall ordering it many years ago from Bill and Becky direct, so whatever version that that is?

The XL is the HOT one that rock/metal guys like (Dime, Nuno, etc). I ordered my XL from them directly and it really woke up my San Dimas, lots of edge.

Most likely is then. I think I was trying to hack it into a Nuno flavour guitar with and XL and the 59.

That’s sweet!! There are a could have those on Reverb I’ve had on my Watch List. Was wondering about them, sounds and play. Would appreciate once you’ve checked it it a while

From what I've been able to gather they seem to be the exact same thing as the Fusion, just a little bit newer? This one is from the 90's

Haven't been able to plug it in yet but the setup is already essentially perfect and it feels great

I think those may have been Japan-only market, but they are a bit newer than the toothpaste logo Charvels, even with the older logo.

But yes, I think they are the exact same thing as the Fusion. Mid 90s sounds right.

Congrats on that guitar!! Looks like it's in great condition, too.

That's definitely after '92, since Charvel used the toothpaste logo until then.
