Maybe this is old news, but this excellent resource is only around for another 10 days: https://www.iicplus.com/home

I feel like I could move everything but the store over to free static hosting pretty easily. I'd have to see how the store works, but might be able to move that, too. Only recurring cost would be the domain @ ~$12/year ?‍♂️

I didn't know he was a member here, hopefully he'll chime in. If it's a simple funding issue I'm sure we can help out.
@vultures is the man behind the site afaik

I agree on helping out

Wow, that sounds like a solid backup plan in case @vultures remains silent!

So, I currently host on Squarespace, which I already host my photography portfolio on so it made sense. It was about $190 the first year. I had momentum to sell some of my footswitches. So I upgraded the plan to business and paid about $252/yr. There are about a dozen of my pedals/footswitches out there in the wild, some hand wired, some with v1 PCBs and a majority with v2 PCBs. Mike B should have one. Anyway, I price them to almost break even, and I've managed to cover the cost of hosting so far. It just came down to the fact I'm not making really anything with my real job and struggling with bills. I didn't want to pay $250+/-. I might bring it back when I get a big boy job.

If anyone's curious for some off the traffic & sales analytics.. For 2021 I had 69 views a month. For 2022 I had 107 views a month. 2023 so far is 148 views month. A big vast majority being direct clicks or browser type ins. Some from facebook, google and a random amount from DuckDuckGo.. The pedals cost me $47.93 to make, enclosure, UV Printing, Parts, Shipping from Tayda Electronics. PCBs are not overly complicated or big, they cost me $11.84 shipped for 30 or about $0.39 a piece from JLCPCB. Bruce Egnater uses JLC too. Good stuff. In 2022 I sold 6 Footswitches for $60+shipping on the site, which after fees and all it made me about.. $6.75 each :D The rest I sold direct through PMs / Facebook / In Person. It's just cool knowing folks out there are jamming their IIC+'s live with something I built. I've sold a couple shirts, a couple hats. I've bought more shirts and hats for myself than I've sold. :ROFLMAO: Wore a cool one to NAMM. I've sold one Quad Cortex capture pack. I'll probably just send the rest to him. If anyone has a quad cortex and wants some IIC+ captures and some overdrive captures, let me know and I'll give them out.

Why am I sharing all this info? I don't fucking know.

Here's a peak into one of my last footswitches. With the Mesa channel footswitch, you can draw enough power from the jack to power an LED with a 680 Ohm Resistor. However there is no power draw from the EQ/Reverb jack. So I "made" a circuit with it's own power so you can have a visual as to what's on and off. More importantly mine lights up when the Lead Channel is on. Mesa's light up when the Clean channel is on. It's stupid simple, but makes me feel like a man when I wire it up, ya know?

If you'd like some help with the fees just shout out - team Zen would be happy to contribute. It really is a great resource.

I can't speak for any other members here, but I suspect many would be happy to make a small donation. Just say the word, and let's see what we can do.
