I've got to get another nes. Still rocking the SNES, Genesis, and my MAME cabinet I made a few years back. I love that thing.
I did have a genesis years back, but I’m mostly a Nintendo fanboy. I have an Nes, GameCube and WiiU downstairs and keep a Switch upstairs.
Until recently I hadn’t touched a system since my first daughter was born so I’m pretty pumped to be able to play with her now

I think mine's a 1983 NES ?

Not sure.

I know it's the same one used for the Tetris championships

It's cool if she likes the games. Some kids think those old games are lame.

Tough independent woman.

Do you still have CRT TV's to play the nes/snes on?
No need. You just run the scanlines overlay / filter and everything looks legit, just like back in the day.

Been meaning to make one for 15 years now. Awesome man.

Now it's just 70s or 80s stuff.
Same here. The space shooters are my faves - Asteroids, Galaga, Galaxian, Moon Cresta, Phoenix, Pleiads etc..

The nes I have plugged in to the coax Jack of a smallish flatscreen. The picture is ok but a little bloated. I’m not sure if I still have to select the channel though,
the GameCube uses the red/white/yellow cables and the Wii U and switch go in to hdmi.
I can run my '80s NES using the RGB RCA cables into the flat screen TV, no problem.
